Swedish Railway Museum
Parts of the railway-historical heritage are stored in Tåghallen, which is the Railway Museum's automotive magazine, located in the Gävle City section of Nynäs. Here you can experience the best of the collection on a number of occasions until the new opening of the museum, which is currently being renovated for the future.
The museum and the new exhibitions are scheduled to open in 2020.

The National Railway Museum with one of the world's leading collections of locomotives and wagons, including Prince August from 1856 and other cool vehicles and items from Sweden's railway history.
The Railway Museum is a family-run place with exhibitions and playful learning for all ages, train traffic with museum trains and minitåg at events. Genuine railway environment with historic buildings and parks. Summer shoe with open magazine, daily rail bus tours and extra lot to experience at the museum!
The museum also has a reference library with the most published in Swedish on railways and railway history, mid-1800's timetables and magazines to read.
NOTE! From September 2017 and about two and a half years ahead, the museum will be closed for renovation
