In the 35-meter-high Gravitational Distillery in Mackmyra Whisky Village, just outside the city center of Gävle, we produce Swedish single malt whisky. Here, we offer guided tours of both the distillery and the fragrant warehouse where thousands of barrels lie maturing - just a stone's throw from our own smoking facility. In our restaurant, Mackmyra Bar & Bistro, we serve whisky-inspired food with a focus on taste experiences.

Welcome to join us on a deep dive into 25 years of Swedish whisky history! Throughout the year, we will be conducting exclusive anniversary tastings that take you on a journey through Mackmyra's history. With specially selected whisky from extraordinary casks and special editions, we dare to promise something beyond the ordinary.
A recommendation if you choose to participate in our "Distillery & Forest Warehouse Tour" is that it pairs well with the subsequent tasting "Magic of Small Casks" to fully experience the entire journey - from malt to whisky in the glass.
Another option is our experience package where you get to experience the whole process up close with an inspiring guide from Mackmyra who shares knowledge, guides you through a tasting, and concludes the day with a dinner in Bar & Bistro. Read more under Experience Packages.

Mackmyra Days May 31 - June 1, 2024
At Mackmyra Whisky Village, just a stone's throw from Gävle's city park, we invite you to Mackmyra Days 2024. Experience Swedish artisan whisky, barrel-aged gin, and local beer varieties. Take part in whisky and gin tastings, food pairing, food markets, entertainment, and much more. More information and program details will be available soon.
Age Limit Whisky Tasting - 18 years Distillery Tour - 15 years or accompanied by a guardian. Ticket also booked for the minor.
