Rent a kayak, canoe, or SUP board and explore the islands and wrecks in the archipelago in Axmar Archipelago. Navigate with our paddle maps and enjoy the tranquility and the open horizon.

In the sea outside Axmar bruk, there are untouched islands and an exciting underwater world. Beneath the surface in the rocky and shallow archipelago, there are several shipwrecks with stories to tell. With a kayak, you'll get really close to the places that tell the 350-year history of the ironworks, and several of the wrecks are visible from the surface. This summer, you can rent kayaks (single and double), canoes, and SUP boards here at Axmar bruk.

Paddle routes
With our paddle maps, you can easily navigate around and enjoy the sea and the beautiful nature. You can make landings at various locations, from the bird sanctuary of Granskär in the north to the old pilot station of Synskär in the south. There are swimming spots at several places, and if you want to prepare lunch, there are several barbecue areas to choose from. We have selected three different paddling tours, a shorter one for a couple of hours, a day trip, and an overnight trip. From our large kayak pier, you can easily get in and out of the kayak.
