Since their inception in the early 1990s, Bo Kaspers Orkester has continuously reinvented themselves. It's hard to think of any Swedish band that has ignored genre boundaries as much, or been as versatile. The band knows how to blend the light with the heavy, the poetic with the straightforward, in both lyrics and music. With constant playfulness, the group has traversed between jazz, funk, pop, ballads, and soul, with a precision that has captivated not only at home but also in Norway, Denmark, and Finland, where the group has long sold out club scenes, concert halls, and ended festivals with joyous sing-alongs. One million albums sold and five number ones on the Swedish album chart are further proof of their appreciation.
