During this full-day trip, you’ll visit the local heritage associations in Järbo and Ovansjö, where project manager Gunilla Humble will present the digitisation project Digidräkt – an initiative that makes traditional costume patterns, images and information accessible – and give a guided tour of parts of the costume collection.

After lunch in the beautiful surroundings of Wij Trädgårdar, the excursion continues to the Ockelbo local heritage association, home to a unique collection of printing blocks and tools from the Hallberg calico printing workshop.

Organised by the Gästrike Hälsinge Local Heritage Federation in collaboration with Region Gävleborg.

Departure from Gävle Monitor ERP Arena is scheduled for 08:30 on 26 September, with return at approximately 17:30.
