Excursion Hälsingland VÄV2025

Information

During this full-day trip, you’ll visit the beautifully located Erik-Anders Farm, one of the seven Hälsingland farmhouses inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2012. At the Rengsjö local heritage association and weaving studio, you’ll explore parts of the textile collection, which includes both traditional workwear and folk fashion garments.

After lunch, the tour concludes at the Alfta parish heritage association, where costume maker Mona Rosenqvist presents the custom-built storage for the textile collection and showcases several folk garments typical of the area.

Departure from Gävle Monitor ERP Arena is at 08:00 on 27 September, with return expected at 17:30.
