The upcoming indoor tour this spring, which is virtually sold out, has left Håkan Hellström and his band eager to keep performing. As a result, they are extending the excitement with a summer tour – their first in three years.

Håkan Hellström on the summer tour:

“Hi everyone! You know, the best thing about making an album is getting to tour around Sweden afterwards. And extending the tour into the summer feels absolutely fantastic. Watching the yellow flower fields from the bus window, rolling on through the nights, past forests, villages, barns, abandoned houses and roadside diners. But above all – coming to your towns. Meeting you! Ahhh, away with winter, let spring and summer arrive. I don’t want to wait!”

The summer tour consists of just eight exclusive dates at some of Sweden’s finest outdoor venues, and on Saturday, 8 August, Håkan Hellström will take the stage at Gasklockorna in Gävle!

The opening act is Gävle-based band Solen. Known for their distinctive blend of indie pop and alternative rock, Solen released their debut album in 2012 and have since followed it with four more albums. Anyone who has followed the band knows they are never easy to define. They always deliver something uniquely their own – familiar, yet delightfully unpredictable.

The concert takes place outdoors with standing audience.

Food and beverages (including a bar) will be available on site.
