Information

We bring creative entrepreneurs together and offer a lovely outing for the whole family. With us, you can enjoy fika, have lunch, and browse interior design, ceramics, heritage building supplies, treats, vintage finds and our own products.

- The modern village shop
We’re located in the slightly more ”hidden” part of Bomhus called Holmsund. Close to the sea, with meadows in front of us and the forest just nearby, you’ll find our Villa Holmsundsallén, originally built as the Korsnäs Village Shop in 1929. In later years, the villa has been used for conferences and weddings, but from spring 2024 we’re returning to our roots and reopening as the new destination Villa Holmsundsallén!

- Fika & lunch
Here you can enjoy fika and good food during your visit. Peter Molin has moved into our kitchen and, together with his right-hand Karin, serves seasonal pastries and light lunches for hungry guests.

Take a seat outside in our cosy backyard with your fika tray, bring your cup out into the garden, or sink into a comfy sofa inside the Villa.

- The Villa Holmsundsallén shop
In our modern village shop, we’ve gathered wonderful “Villan Friends” – creators and entrepreneurs. This allows us to offer visitors a wide range of carefully selected items. Right now, you’ll find edible treats in beautiful packaging, ceramics, a heritage building–care section, interior design and selected vintage, the Villa’s own scented products, and occasionally even designed items from our interiors.

- Gifts
We’re happy to put together gift sets for you – for dinner hosts, farewells, teachers and more. Just let us know and we’ll arrange it!

- Make the most of your visit to our beautiful area
Cycle here or bring your walking shoes. In front of the Villa you’ll find lovely walking paths along meadows, avenues and forest trails around Lake Rudsjön. In winter, you may even find ski tracks on the meadows if you’re lucky.

Our philosophy is that guests should be able to engage all their senses in our villa, and we hope you feel that during your visit – both inside and outside Villa Holmsundsallén and its surroundings.

- Dogs are welcome outdoors
Dogs are warmly welcome outside in our backyard or front garden. Just let us know and we’ll bring a water bowl for your four-legged friend.

- Keep an eye on our varying opening hours at the start
In the beginning, our hours will vary due to previously booked events – so please check our website and Instagram for current opening times.

You can always trust that everything sold in our shop is carefully selected by us, reflecting our taste in both treats and beautiful things.

The house also offers the possibility to book interior design services.

Our Villa has always been a place where people meet, ever since it was built as the Korsnäs Village Shop in 1929, and of course we want to continue that story. From time to time, we arrange creative courses, events, markets, music quizzes, pop-ups and flea markets. Keep an eye on our events calendar and Instagram to stay updated on opening hours and upcoming events. We also offer conference facilities for companies, and the house can be rented as a photo studio or venue for events.
