Nature safari for young and old
This summer, Axmar Bruksbod and Kryddan i Tillvaron offer several enjoyable safaris focusing on insects and animals in our unique nature. Closer than you think, fascinating creatures are hiding - in underground tunnels beneath your feet, in hollows in the trees you pass by, or in the flowers you smell, as well as high up among the clouds and beneath the surface of the sea.

With a curious mind and a relaxed atmosphere, our knowledgeable guide will take you on one of our safaris and tell you more about the exciting lives of bats, ants, bees, beavers, eagles, and seals. In our unique and rich wildlife at the Destination where the forest meets the sea.
Did you know, for example, that a bat can catch up to 7,000 mosquitoes in one night? That an ant can live up to 20 years old? Or that a bee only lives for four weeks?

Duration: approximately 60 minutes or by appointment
Number: Seal, sea eagle, and beaver safaris maximum 4 people. Other safaris approximately 15 people or by appointment.
Bookable: May 15th to August 30th
Where: Axmar Bruk is located by the sea between Gävle and Söderhamn. It is both a cultural and nature reserve.
