The visitors from Örnsköldsvik represent one of Swedish ice hockey’s most historic clubs, withWhen two of Swedish hockey’s most renowned clubs face each other, there is no shortage of tradition and pride on either side, and Djurgården have also written their own chapter in the history of the women’s game. The Stockholm club were crowned Swedish champions in 2017, in the first season after the league adopted the SDHL name. Now another chapter awaits in the meetings between Brynäs and Djurgården, with the home side entering the season as reigning Swedish champions following their title triumph in 2026.
